Bulk Import - Download CSV Template and general guidelines

In order to bulk important tracks through the "upload manager" please use our template:

Do not hesitate to duplicate this spreadsheet, fill it with your own data and export it (File > Download > Comma Separated Value) before importing it in Meta.

To be as convenient as possible, we are using CSV files, encoded in UTF-8.

You can read, edit and save CSV with leading spreadsheets software, such as Microsoft Excel ®, Apache OpenOffice ® or Google Sheets.

While opening it, you'll find, on the first row, the CSV's header: it figures all the different fields relative to a track that you'll be able to bulk import.

Each row below will correspond to one track.

Some cells, such as the artist's, will accept multiple values. Please, separate all the values using a coma `,` or a semi-colon `;`.

The symbol (either "," or ";") you pick to separate two values must be different from the default delimiter of your CSV spreadsheet. As a reminder, a CSV spreadsheet always has a default delimiter in order for it to differentiate columns (which can be changed in your spreadsheet settings). Therefore the delimiter you use to separate values should never be the same as the default CSV delimiter.

Here is a quick example :

I have chosen to use the symbol "," to separate multiple values. In this instance, I must check that the default delimiter of my CSV spreadsheet is not set to ";" and not ",".

If not three columns will be created each containing an author and resulting in an unsuccessful ingestion later down the road.
